What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small data files placed through a browser. Similar storage, including localStorage, can remember a choice without sending it with every page request.
What we use
The site works if optional analytics are rejected. Essential local storage records your consent choice so the banner does not return on every page. Optional analytics will be enabled only after acceptance and, if introduced, this table will be updated before use.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
digitalwiregrid_cookie_choice | Remembers accepted or rejected cookie preference | 180 days | Digitalwiregrid |
We currently set no advertising cookies and use no behavioural profiling. Public image and font providers may receive standard connection information such as IP address when assets load; they are not used by us to build advertising profiles.
Managing your choice
Use Accept or Reject in the first-visit banner. You can remove the saved choice through your browser’s site-data controls; the banner will then appear again. Blocking essential storage does not prevent reading the site, but your preference may not persist.
Browser settings can block or delete cookies generally. Doing so may affect other websites and, if interactive services are added later, could affect remembered preferences. Third-party services govern their own cookies under their notices.
